Saskatchewan Roughriders' offensive lineman Trevor Reid has signed with the Minnesota Vikings.
The 24-year-old Reid worked out for the Vikings, Indianapolis Colts and Cincinnati Bengals this offseason.
Reid was the Riders’ nominee for Most Outstanding Rookie in 2024 after starting all 18 regular season games plus the Western Semi-Final.
The six-foot-five, 307-pound Reid signed with the Philadelphia Eagles as an undrafted free agent following the 2023 NFL Draft. He attended rookie camp with Eagles and then went to training camp with the Atlanta Falcons.
Reid played three NCAA seasons (2020-2022) at the University of Louisville. In 2021, the Georgia native started all 13 games at left tackle and 11 games in 2022. Over 24 starts, he allowed five sacks in 646 pass blocking snaps. Prior to his time in Louisville, Reid spent two years (2018-2019) at Georgia Military College, where he was named a NJCAA first-team All-American in 2019.
The Riders retain Reid’s CFL rights through February 2026.
