While their first games might have been delayed, players at the Curling Canada U18 Championship were still able to hear from members of the Mike McEwen rink during a presentation on Saturday night.

SASKATOON -- The heavy snowfall hitting parts of eastern Canada has resulted in Curling Canada deciding to delay the start of the Canadian Under-18 Curling Championship in Saskatoon.

The national organizing body’s website explained that as of Sunday afternoon some teams hadn’t even arrived in Saskatoon, prompting the emergency delay.

Four full draws were to take place Sunday.

The updated draw can be found at http://curling.ca/scoreboard.
