On January 12, Alan Dill, Missions Committee Chair at Central Lutheran Church, presented a cheque to Daycee Richardson, Chair of the Moose Jaw & District Food Bank on behalf of the congregation.
The funds were raised at the Fall Fair Trade Festival held at Central Lutheran Church in conjunction with Ten Thousand Villages. The Fair Trade Festival has been held twice a year since 2013, with funds raised being earmarked for various charitable organizations in the city.
Following the presentation, Daycee gave a brief presentation to the congregation on the work of the Moose Jaw & District Food Bank.
