“This is all about companies and businesses recognizing and thanking administrative professionals. They are usually at the forefront of any successful business,” said Rob Clark, CEO of Moose Jaw & District Chamber of Commerce. “We just want to show how much we love and support our administrative professionals.”
This year’s luncheon will be held on Wednesday, April 24 at Temple Gardens Hotel & Spa from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. The guest speaker will be Richelle Grocott.
Grocott is a member of the Moose Jaw Fire Department. She has been a firefighter/EMT for the past 19 years. Of note, Grocott was the first woman hired by the MJFD, moving up from bathroom duty all the way to her current position as captain. She will share her story.
“She will have a really good story to tell about going through training and working in that environment,” added Clark.
Tickets for the luncheon are $30 each, GST included. They can be purchased by visiting the Moose Jaw & District Chamber of Commerce office at 88 Saskatchewan St. E. Call 306-692-6414 or email [email protected] for more information.
