It is time to celebrate the addition of a new community recreational space.
The grand opening of the East End Spray Park will be held on Thursday, June 27 at 2 p.m. in East End Park.
Mayor Fraser Tolmie will be in attendance, along with representatives of the East Side Community Association.
The Moose Jaw Co-op will be on hand to hand out freezies for the kids in attendance. In 2018 the Co-op, through its Community Spaces program, provided $120,000 towards the park's construction.
As a note to anyone using the park, the water will be turned off at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday to accommodate the grand opening ceremony.
The spray park is located at the corner of Ninth Ave. NE and Ominica St. East.
