At 4 p.m. this afternoon, Moose Jaw firefighters rushed to a building on South Hill at 418 Home Street, which is also known as the Maple View Apartments near the Fourth Avenue bridge on the west side.
Neighbours could see the blaze of fire and smoke coming out of the 12-suite apartment.
Three fire trucks were there to put the fire out and bring the situation under control.
It took them two hours to get everything under control.
The Moose Jaw Fire Department has not made any comment since the incident is still under investigation.
