2. The remnants of Hurricane Beryl drenched Ontario in heavy rain and is moving into Quebec as possible "torrential" downpours could last into Thursday.

3. A double-decker passenger bus collided with a milk truck in northern India, killing at least 18 people and injuring many others

4.  The Manitoba government is putting up $1.1 million to address a rise in retail theft and violent crime in some parts of Winnipeg.

5. A consumer rights organization says the Canadian Transportation Agency is pressuring passengers to stay silent about its rulings on their complaints.
