In a surprising development, former Moose Jaw police officer Alan Murdock has withdrawn the appeal of his dismissal from the Moose Jaw Police Service.
In a news release, the police serviced explained the organization received a notice from Murdock on Oct. 1 saying he no longer planned to pursue his dismissal hearing, which was scheduled to commence on Tuesday, Oct. 6.
The police service added that it would have more information about the development on Friday, Oct. 2.
