Four arrested in a pair of drug busts in Moose Jaw

Police seized $1,500 of crystal meth and $2,500 in cocaine in one of two drug busts in the city.

The Moose Jaw Police Service made two drug seizures Wednesday resulting in four arrests.

Police executed a search warrant on the 600 block of Duffield Street West and seized a loaded firearm, approximately $1,500 worth of crystal meth, approximately $2,500 worth of cocaine and a “significant amount of cash,” according to an MJPS press release.

Jeremy Fisher and Marnie Hayter were both charged with possession of crystal meth for the purpose of trafficking, possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of proceeds of crime and numerous firearms offences. Seth Larson was also charged with possession of crystal meth.

Fisher and Hayter were remanded to appear in court. Larson was released with a court date.

The MJPS also conducted an investigation Wednesday that culminated with a vehicle stop downtown.

As a result, police charged Mary Jo Schulties with possession of crystal meth for the purpose of trafficking, possession of prescription medication for the purpose of trafficking and breaching a court order. Schulties was released on numerous conditions.
