The province of Saskatchewan has 14 new confirmed cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of reported cases to 66.

Two cases are now being reported as individuals between the ages of five and 19, while the rest are adults, and 61 per cent of cases now reported are male.

Public health officials are still conducting contact investigations for these new cases.

With the Roy Romanow Provincial Laboratory now able to confirm test results, 65 out of 66 cases are now reported to be confirmed positive for the new coronavirus. One case remains a presumptive positive at this time.

A total of 5,269 cases have been tested at the provincial laboratory, 733 more than the province reported yesterday.

As the number of confirmed cases in the province continues to rise, officials urge residents to stay home and adhere to the self-isolation and social distancing guidelines recommended at this time.
