The City of Moose Jaw is advising residents that the Fourth Avenue Bridge — otherwise known as the Thunderbird Viaduct — will be temporarily closed for repairs starting on Monday, July 15. During this time traffic will not be permitted on the structure and the city will have clearly posted detour signage in place.
Drivers will be able to access North and South Hill by way of the Main Street South underpass and the Ninth Avenue bridge, both of which will remain open during construction.
Motorists are asked to obey all posted signage and to be cautious while driving through construction zones.
There was no indication as to the nature of the repairs and further updates will be provided as they become available.
