Here is what you need to know before going to the Garth Brooks concerts

Country superstar Garth Brooks will play a pair of shows at Mosaic Stadium in Regina this weekend. 

With large crowds expected, organizers have released all the necessary details so concert goers know exactly what to expect.

The gates will open at 5 p.m. Guests are advised to arrive early to avoid missing any part of the show.

Brett Kissel will open on Friday night, while Jessie Labelle will serve as the opening act on Saturday. The opening acts will hit the stage at 7 p.m. Garth Brooks will follow. 

The concert will go on, rain or shine.

When entering the gate, please take note of the long list of prohibited items. This includes fireworks, laser pointers, selfie sticks, seat cushions, cameras with lenses longer than three inches, electronic equipment, weapons, and strollers and infant car seats or carriers. Outside food or beverages will also not be permitted.  A full concession will be available on site.

Please note there will be a no in-and-out policy in effect for the show. Smoking will be permitted in outdoor designated smoking areas only.

A free shuttle service will be provided courtesy of the Regina Hotel Association and SGI. The service will run from 5 to 7 p.m. and again after the show is over.

Shuttles will leave from the following locations:

  • Northgate;
  • Southland;
  • Warehouse (6th and Hamilton, Dewdney and Scarth, Dewdney and Lorne);
  • Downtown routes (Sask Dr. and Hamilton Eastbound, Hamilton and 11th);
  • The old Costco parking lot.

You can also ride regular city transit or Paratransit by showing your concert tickets.

Paid general parking is available at Evraz Place, South Railway parking lot, and historic Mosaic Stadium. Parking can be purchased online at www.ticketmaster.ca/garthbrooks. Paid accessible parking is also available.
