C&E Mechanical Inc. has served Moose Jaw and the surrounding area for over 60 years now, and on April 26, the business announced a new partnership with Applied Industrial Technologies that will now see them as Moose Jaw’s exclusive distributor.
To celebrate the new announcement, C&E Mechanical Inc. hosted a one-day-only free barbecue complete with door prizes for customers who stopped by in a show of support for the local business.
“C&E Mechanical has partnered with Applied Industrial Technologies to be able to supply the industrial parts as needed for Moose Jaw and surrounding area,” announced Derek Kletzel, the parts and retail manager at C&E Mechanical.
This new partnership will see the local business supply bearings, belts, chains, hoses, and fittings as needed, and almost every industry will benefit as they no longer have to travel to other locations such as Regina for parts.
C&E Mechanical is a locally owned and operated mechanical company based right here in Moose Jaw. The bonded, insured, and COR certified company brings a team of highly skilled, experienced, and innovative tradespeople to offer heating, plumbing, ventilation, air conditioning, and sheet metal services.
Originally founded in 1958 by Carl Young and Ed Schoenroth, the company was passed down to Schoenroth in 1975 and his two sons, Art and Gary, when Young retired. Since that time, C&E Mechanical has grown to a well-known local name and has employed as many as 50 employees.
Prior to the announcement, there was a short period where no local businesses were supplying Applied Industrial components. The innovative team at C&E Mechanical worked to solve this by reaching out to continue providing the top-quality brand that many in the agriculture, industrial, and construction industries have come to know and trust.
“The support from the barbecue was terrific,” Kletzel said. “We had a great turnout. We were happy for the customers that were able to come in and give us some feedback.
“We’re looking forward to continue servicing the community along with Applied Industrial Technologies,” he concluded.
C&E Mechanical Inc. is located at 421 High Street West and is open Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. although the company’s service department is available on a 24-hour basis.
