Well, virtually. And courtesy the Playstation 4 game MLB: The Show 20.
Access7 has put together a special six team tournament featuring each of the Saskatchewan teams in the Western Canadian Baseball League, with two games being broadcast a week through the tournament finale.
Making it all the more interesting is the effort that went into the project. Each of the six teams – the Miller Express, Regina Red Sox, Swift Current 57s, Yorkton Cardinals, Melville Millionaires and Weyburn Beavers – have had their uniforms faithfully modelled, right down to the team colours and logos on each player.
You can see the impressive results right here, including the aforementioned Hader sporting Miller Express colours.

The tournament features a ramdomly filled double-knockout draw, with the Miller Express drawing the Swift Current in the first round as the sixth seed. The winner advances to face Melville. The other side of the draw features the Regina against Yorkton Cardinals – a game that was played Canada Day, with no result available as of press time – with the winner taking on Weyburn in the semifinal.
As for players, teams will be randomly drawn from the current pool of MLB players before each game, creating a new look for each squad each time out.
Express fans won’t have to wait long to watch the first game, either, as they take on the 57’s on Friday night at 7 p.m.. Each game runs approximately two hours and will feature commentary from Regina Red Sox broadcaster Brendan McGuire and Regina baseball guru Leo MacDonald.
