The Saskatchewan Teachers Federation called for teachers, parents, students and other concerned citizens to attend a mini rally in Moose Jaw on Saturday, October 14. They announced that the rally was held to call on the Government of Saskatchewan to provide adequate funding and support for publicly funded schools.
The mini rally in Moose Jaw is the first of four mini rallies planned throughout the province over the coming weeks with these to follow:
• Humboldt – October 21 at 1 p.m. outside the offices of Minister Donna Harpauer
• Saskatoon – October 28 at 1 p.m. outside the office of Minister Paul Merriman
• North Battleford – November 4 at 1 p.m. outside the offices of Minister Jeremy Cockrill
