Moose Jaw man in custody on attempted murder charge

A disturbance on South Hill in the late afternoon of May 26 has resulted in an attempted murder investigation by MJPS

On May 26, police responded to a residence on South Hill about a man suffering from several stab wounds.

Officers arrived at the home on 300 Iroquois St. W around 4pm, and after investigating the area, located and arrested 37-year-old Moose Jaw resident Bradley Wells in a nearby residence. 

The Moose Jaw Police said that Wells knew the victim, who was transported to Dr. F.H. Wigmore hospital to treat his injuries; he has since been released.

Wells has been charged with attempted murder and several breach of probation charges, and will be held for his court appearance at a later date. 

Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
