MOOSE JAW — The City of Moose Jaw is accepting applications from individuals and developers for the purchase of 52 residential lots in the Westheath subdivision.

The lots are located along Wellington Drive, Fullerton Road and Fairmont Road, adjacent to the site of the new joint-use elementary school that will open in 2025.

The city is using a public lot draw system to award the properties and it is now accepting applications.

The draw will be held Tuesday, July 16, at 11 a.m. in council chambers on the second floor of city hall. Interested applicants must register their names with the planning and development services department no later than Monday, July 15, at 2 p.m.

To be eligible for the lot, all applicants and/or agents must be present when the draw is made.

Those selected in the draw will have an opportunity to choose and secure an available lot, subject to entering into a sale and purchase agreement and paying the deposit amount. Lot prices include sewer and water connections to the property line, curb and gutter, and paved streets. The City of Moose Jaw also reserves the right to cancel the draw if there is insufficient interest shown.

An information package outlining the available lots, sizes, locations and prices, together with the terms of purchase and rules of the draw, is available from the planning and development services department on the third floor of city hall at 228 Main Street North or by calling 306-694-4428http://306-694-4428.
