Moose Jaw Wakamow MLA Greg Lawrence is in hospital following a motorcycle accident on Thursday afternoon.
Lawrence, 57, is an avid motorcyclist and was involved in a single-vehicle accident, according a press release from the Saskatchewan government caucus office.
His injuries are severe enough to require hospitalization for a few weeks, with no other individuals involved in the accident.
Lawrence has served as Moose Jaw Wakamow MLA since 2011.
The press release included a statement from Lawrence saying he wants “to thank all the first responders and health care workers who have provided him with the best possible medical care.”
