The Friendly City Optimist Club’s annual “Name That Tune” musical fundraiser is returning for another fun-filled evening that will challenge contestants’ listening skills and memories.

The fundraiser takes place on Tuesday, Jan. 23, at 7 p.m. at the Moose Jaw Public Library theatre.

Six teams of two participants each — pulled from community groups and businesses — will put their aural abilities and mental recollections to the test as they attempt to identify the song and artist or the movie from which a song originated.

The team that wins will receive bragging rights and a prize, although the big winners will be children in Moose Jaw since the group focuses on supporting youth projects in the community.

Residents are encouraged to attend to enjoy the fun and frivolity. Tickets are $20 each, and since there is a limited supply, people should purchase their tickets quickly.

For more information and to purchase tickets, call Gayle Jones at 306-693-4514
