Even with all the battles they've had this season in the Moose Jaw high school girls volleyball league, it turns out the Peacock Toilers and Central Cyclones weren't done with one another just yet.

Sure enough, the teams had one more date -- this time in the semifinals of the Saskatchewan High Schools Athletic Association 4A girls provincial championships.

The Toilers would once again prevail, taking a 25-11, 25-19 victory to advance to the gold medal game against North Battleford John Paul II immediately after the bronze contest at around 6 p.m. on Saturday.

The Cyclones, meanwhile, drop to the third-place game and will play for bronze against Humboldt at 5 p.m.

Peacock ended up with the second-best record in their pool at 3-1 after falling 22-25, 25-13, 15-9 to the Crusaders but rebounded in their quarter-final contest with a 25-15, 25-14 victory over Meadow Lake to set up their semifinal bout.

Central was a perfect 4-0 in their pool, closing out the round robin with a 25-13, 25-15 win over Moosomin. They defeated Martensville 25-22, 23-25, 15-11 in their quarter-final.
