After conducting a search of a residence on Apr. 30, police have arrested one person in relation to drug-related charges.
Over $8,000 in cash and a large amount of cocaine, valued at $14,000, was seized from the residence, along with a vehicle involved in the investigation.
Michael Jbara of Edmonton has been charged with possession for the purposes of trafficking and possession of proceeds of crime over $5,000.
Following the search at the residence on the 1100 block of Athabasca St.E, police took Jbara into custody where he will be held for court.
Police are continuing the investigation and more charges could be laid.
