Ranch roping returns this weekend to exhibition grounds

Ranch Roping is a sport based upon the actual working cowboy where herds are managed in as little stress as possible. Animals are selected to be roped from a herd in a manner used in the field if the cow/calf had to be treated.

MOOSE JAW — There are a full two days of riding, roping and fellowship as Ranch Roping returns this weekend — Saturday and Sunday — to the Moose Jaw Exhibition’s Golden Mile Arena (250 Thatcher Drive East).

Ranch Roping is a sport based upon the actual working cowboy where herds are managed in as little stress as possible. Animals are selected to be roped from a herd in a manner used in the field if the cow/calf had to be treated.

The event runs noon to 5 pm on Saturday and 11 am until 3 pm.

The event is FREE to attend and spectators are welcome.

The ever popular concession will be open for both days the event.
