With the Country Thunder Music Festival taking place in Craven this weekend, the RCMP have been busy maintaining law and order.
As a reminder, the RCMP will not only patrol the festival grounds, they will also be out on the highways surrounding Craven. Combined Traffic Services Saskatchewan units have already issued 55 traffic tickets, 77 warning tickets, has located four individuals on outstanding warrants, issued two roadside driving suspensions, and charged two drivers for prohibited driving under the Criminal Code.
Overnight, RCMP at the festival site arrested 10 individuals, mostly for being intoxicated and causing disturbances.
Overall, the RCMP responded to 27 calls for service, bringing the total to 30 calls during the festival.
