Looking for something the whole family can enjoy next week? Take a road trip to Regina for the Royal Saskatchewan Museum's (RSM) new holiday stage show.

'Twas the Night Before Hiberation opens today and will run on Dec. 29 and 30 as well as Jan. 2, 3, 4, and 5.

According to a press release, the show will allow families to get in on the fun by actively taking part in a re-telling of the classic Christmas poem. Volunteers from the audience will play the roles of Saskatchewan animals and learn about the amazing story of surviving winter.

Tini the T.rex will make a special appearance.

The show starts at 2 p.m. and is approximately 25 minutes long.

The RSM is located at 2445 Albert Street in Regina. It is open daily from 9:30 a.m. until 5 p.m., although hours will be adjusted for Dec. 31 and January 1. The RSM will be closed January 6-10 for cleaning and maintenance.

Visit the RSM's website for more information.
