Whether you want to reduce your utility bills or your carbon footprint, SaskEnergy customers can once again take advantage of the Residential Equipment Replacement Rebate program.

SaskEnergy offers rebates for the purchase and installation of qualifying natural gas furnaces, boilers, combi-boilers, water heaters, and heat recovery ventilators (HRVs) through SaskEnergy Network Members. Rebate amounts can range from $250 to a maximum of $2,000 depending on the equipment being installed. The rebates can be combined with the Home Renovation Tax Credit.

The program is available from now until June 30, 2022. SaskEnergy provided more than $1.7 million to customers through 2,900 rebates during the previous program, which ended on March 31 of this year.

“The Residential Equipment Replacement Rebate provides a financial incentive for SaskEnergy customers to improve their overall home energy efficiency,” said Don Morgan, Minister Responsible for SaskEnergy. “Through the rebates, SaskEnergy is supporting its customers to make greener choices for home heating, water heating and ventilation equipment. These high efficiency models help to improve customers’ energy savings and comfort level for them at home.”
