Stuck at home because of COVID-19? Can’t make it to the office? Fortunately, SaskTel is taking steps to help its customers.
First, there will be no data overage charges for business and consumer customers who are on postpaid wireless plans, noSTRINGS prepaid wireless plans, or SaskTel fusion internet plans. This will be in effect from March 17 to 31.
“SaskTel’s internet plans are already unlimited, so our customers can use as much as needed during this time with the peace of mind of having no additional fees or throttling of data,” said Doug Burnett, SaskTel president and CEO, in a press release. “In order to ensure our wireless and fusion internet customers also have peace of mind during this difficult time, SaskTel will waive all data overage charges on their plans to help support our customers who will be working from home amid the global COVID-19 pandemic.”
Second, SaskTel is giving maxTV and maxTV Stream users access to additional TV channels.
CTV News Channel will be availalbe until April 17. Cottage Life and T+E will be available until May 3, while Sportsman Channel will be offered until May 31.
Channels available until March 31 include GMA Pinoy TV, Hollywood Suite 70s, Hollywood Suite 80s, Hollywood Suite 90s, Hollywood Suite 00s, and Hollywood Suite on Demand.
