UPDATED
The police investigation into a motor vehicle versus pedestrian incident from Nov. 29 has now concluded.
The 17-year-old male who was struck by the vehicle has since been taken to hospital, examined, and later released with only minor injuries reported.
As a result of the incident, the driver of the vehicle has been charged with one count of Failure to Yield to a Pedestrian at a Marked Crosswalk under the Traffic Safety Act.
No further details have been released at this time, including the identity of either individual.
Shortly before 12 p.m. on Nov. 29, members of the Moose Jaw Police Service responded to the report of a motor vehicle versus pedestrian collision near the intersection of Main Street North and Ross Street West.
When police arrived on scene, they found a 17-year-old male who appeared to be struck by a vehicle.
The male has been transported to the Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital by EMS crews to undergo a further examination following the incident.
The scene of the collision was cleared by emergency personnel just after 1 p.m.
Any resulting charges are pending against the driver of the vehicle as police continue to investigate.
