Riverview's reunion is coming up later this summer, and the organizing committee has received a bit of a boost.
The South Hill Community Association recently presented a cheque for $500 to the 60th RVCI Reunion organizing committee.
"It will be a great event," said Crystal Froese, president of the South Hill Community Association. "Our members are very happy to support and celebrate the RVCI 60th reunion."
Froese adds the Riverview Alumni organization has been a great support to the South Hill Community Association over the years, most recently volunteering for South of the Bridge day, which will be held on June 8 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The 60th RVCI Reunion "A Summer to Remember: 1959-2019" will be held August 9-11. Registration is open. Visit their website for more information.
