Tickets for River Street Promotions' (RSP) Homestand '22 September concert in support of youth mental wellness are now on sale.

Tickets can be purchased from Sasktix.ca.

Homestand '22's lineup was announced by RSP's Joel Stewart at the conclusion of Music Row at the Mae

The performers are:

  • Matt Mays
  • Chilliwack
  • Nice Horse
  • JJ Voss

The plan is to watch the Banjo Bowl, Riders vs Bombers game as a community on giant video screens at Ross Wells Park. Families should bring blankets and chairs and maybe some cash to get food and drinks from the vendors who will be there.

The end of the game will transition right into the concert.

Last year's first Homestand concert was a huge success that saw the establishment of a $50,000 fund for youth mental wellness, as well as contributing $15,000 to beautification of the park.

Amanda Olson, Prairie South School Division's Superintendent of Learning, said that working with RSP has been absolutely fantastic, and called them a "group of dedicated community members and fundraisers."

"People resonate to music, and it has that healing factor," said organizer James Murdock, a member of RSP. "We're enjoying this, as hectic as it can get... When we get ready to launch Homestand '22, pardon the pun, but we're gonna knock it out of the park again. This is just going to get bigger and better.

"And why shouldn't Moose Jaw have things like this here? Instead of having to go to Regina or Saskatoon to experience something like this?"
