MOOSE JAW — The United Farmers of Alberta (UFA) Co-operative announced the opening of a new cardlock fuel station in Moose Jaw in December and company representatives hope to grow the economy with a modern venue offering “a seamless and efficient experience” for industrial and agricultural customers.
The Moose Jaw UFA Petroleum Agency is strategically positioned along Highway 1 and is set to meet the growing demand for petroleum products starting on the week of Dec. 18.
“We are thrilled to announce the opening of our new Petroleum Agency in Moose Jaw, which marks a significant milestone for our co-operative and the local community,” announced Scott Bolton, president and CEO of UFA.
“By supporting local producers and businesses, we aim to create a more prosperous and sustainable future for the communities we serve,” he added.
The location features up-to-date facilities designed to provide customers with a seamless and efficient experience, according to the company. Moose Jaw UFA now joins the network of existing Saskatchewan locations including Corman Park, Kindersley, Macklin, Melfort — the last cardlock to open prior to Moose Jaw — Swift Current, Weyburn, and Yorkton.
With a robust supply chain, one of Western Canada’s largest cardlock networks, and through strong partnerships with dedicated agents, UFA delivers “reliable service and unmatched convenience” to customers throughout the region.
The new location offers gasoline, clear, and dyed diesel products with high-speed satellite fuel pumps, DEF, and a selection of UFA, Shell, and Chevron-branded lubricants. As the exclusive distributor of Dieselex Gold, UFA will also provide this premium diesel fuel product that claims to boost fuel efficiency, reduce maintenance needs, and deliver increased power.
Local petroleum agents Jason and Jennifer Meyer are committed to delivering service that’s second-to-none and meeting customer’s fuel needs with care and expertise.
“I’m looking forward to offering more choices for our customers in Saskatchewan,” Jason Meyer said, adding that giving back to the community remains a top priority and was a key motivator for both individuals to join the UFA Co-operative.
“Some businesses have lost sight of what it means to support local independent business owners and the value of community building,” he said. “We are excited to be part of a co-operative that gives back to the local community.”
While Meyer emphasized the importance of community support and local business values, the company’s chief operating officer highlighted the broader significance of UFA’s presence in Moose Jaw.
“This Moose Jaw location represents a significant milestone for UFA,” said Don Smith, UFA’s executive vice president and COO. “We have been welcomed into the community of Moose Jaw with open arms and it’s easy to see why it’s referred to as ‘The Friendly City.’
“We are grateful for the community support and are looking forward to contributing to the local economy and providing convenient access to our products,” Smith said. “We also look forward to providing the service that UFA is known for and to giving back to the local community.”
Moose Jaw UFA is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Friday and is closed weekends and statutory holidays with 24-7 cardlock access.
The new cardlock is located at 3175 Commercial Drive in the RM of Moose Jaw and can be accessed along 32 Avenue Northwest.
