Residents within the current eligibility criteria will be able to get in line for their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine today, as the walk-in clinic in Moose Jaw is open once again.
Located in the Moose Jaw Exhibition Grounds at 250 Thatcher Drive, the walk-in clinic is open from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m., or as long as vaccine supply lasts. Vaccines will be administered on a first-come first-serve basis, with no appointments necessary.
Individuals aged 23 or older are able to attend for their first dose, as well as anyone in a previously indicated priority group provided they have their eligibility letter or proof of employment documents.
Public health will also be opening the drive-through clinic in Moose Jaw on May 17 from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. The clinic is located at the South Hill Fire Hall, at 750 Lillooet Street West, and those attending are reminded to enter the line-up via the 4th Avenue bridge and Home Street West.
The drive-through clinic in Regina, located at Evraz Place, will also remain open until May 16.
Anyone who has booked a vaccine appointment but then attends a walk-in or drive-through clinic is reminded to cancel their booked appointment.
