You will find lots of fun activities in and around Moose Jaw and area this weekend. The following list highlights some events you won’t want to miss out on.

Lego Day

Visit the Moose Jaw Public Library this Saturday for fun with Lego! The self-guided program will go on throughout the day in the children’s department. It is intended for kids between the ages of two and 12. Parents are requested to stay in the public space with children younger than 11.

Town and Country Dance

Get your dancing shoes on! It’s time once again for another Town and Country Singles Dance! The dance will be held on Saturday at the Church of Our Lady Community Centre from 7:30 to 11 p.m. The band will be: Just Us. Married couples are welcome! The cost is $15 and that includes a lunch. Repair Café 

Have something old and worn down that you aren’t prepared to part with just yet? Do you have the expertise to fix broken items? Stop by the Wandering Market on Saturday between 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. to take part in the next Repair Café. The event is ideal if you need electronics or appliances fixed, as well as anything that needs to be sewn. Free coffee will be served.

Bird Identification Workshop

Do you love bird watching? Want to know how to get started? A special bird identification workshop will be held at the Moose Jaw Wildlife Federation hall on Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m. The event is offered free of charge. Registration is required before the event starts. It’s an ideal way to learn more about the birds in your own backyard!

Senior’s Potluck

The Moose Jaw & District Seniors Association will host a potluck supper this Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Timothy Eaton Garden Café. The cost is $1.

Irish Stew Supper

Looking for a good meal? Trinity United Church will holds its annual Irish Stew Supper on Sunday. Three will be one sitting at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are $17 for adults, $10 for kids between the ages of 12 and 16, and preschoolers are free. A chairlift is available.
