The Canadian Football League’s player salary cap will grow by $412,365 in 2025, bringing the new salary cap to $6,062,365.

The increase is part of the revenue growth-sharing model set out in the 2022 Collective bargaining agreement between the CFL and the Players' Association.

Commissioner Randy Ambrosie says the increased revenue is due to growth in attendance, gameday revenue, and corporate support.

“This wave of support has triggered our growth sharing model, signalling a bright future ahead, and we couldn’t be more excited.”

The CFL free agent negotiation window remains open until Sunday, February 9. Contracts can officially be signed with teams on February 11.
