So why not give yourself a chance to dress up in style when your ticket is drawn on Dec. 21?
Today is the final day for entries before the province-wide 50/50 lottery makes its Early Bird Draw, with the deadline set for 11:59 p.m. on Friday night.
The winner will receive the Western Hockey League Saskatchewan team jersey prize package, which includes a jersey from each of the five teams in the province -- the Moose Jaw Warriors, Prince Albert Raiders, Swift Current Broncos, Regina Pats and Saskatoon Blades.
The Early Bird draw will be made at 1 p.m. on Saturday in Saskatoon.
And that could be just the start if you’re really lucky.
The Hockey Harvest Lottery officially crossed the $200,000 mark on Thursday night, meaning the winner of the draw will receive over $100,000 -- and there’s still a month to go before the draw is made.
The other half of the draw proceeds will be split equally among the the five WHL Saskatchewan teams to support their education funds
Tickets will be available for sale online through each team’s website, along with WHL.ca.
Prices are as follows:
- 1 ticket for $20
- 5 tickets for $50
- 20 tickets for $100
- 150 tickets for $500
- 500 tickets for $1000
Tickets are available for purchase to anyone over the age of 19 that is physically in the province of Saskatchewan at the time of purchase, regardless of their home residence. Ticket sales close on Sunday, Dec. 20 at 11:59 p.m., with the Grand Prize draw taking place on Monday, Dec. 21 at 1 p.m. in Saskatoon.
