The South Saskatchewan Lacrosse League playoffs kick into high gear through the rest of the week, with three games slated for Moose Jaw.
The Pee Wee Mustangs 2 (4-5-1) take on the Estevan Voltz on Tuesday at 6:45 p.m. at Mosaic Place before the Midget Mustangs (10-0-0) take the floor at Mosaic Place against an undetermined opponent at 8 p.m.
The first round wraps up Wednesday when the Bantam Mustangs (10-0-0) play their first round game at 7 p.m. at Mosaic Place. That contest will feature a special pre-game ceremony to honour long time Moose Jaw lacrosse architect Steve Michaluk, who is moving to Swift Current to teach next fall.
Other playoff contests see the Pee Wee Mustangs 1 (5-4-1) in Swift Current to face the Rampage (6-3-1) on Tuesday and Novice 1 Mustangs (2-6-2) taking on the Weyburn Thrashers (5-4-1) at a time to be determined.
Winners from each of those games will advance to the league championship tournament in Estevan this weekend.
