ACHAN BENADETTE

Achan Benadete, passed at the age of 49 years on March 13,2019 at Pioneers Lodge, Moose Jaw, SK.
She was born in Madi Opei, Uganda on September 23, 1969 to late Oyugi and Ajulaide Labungu. She had one brother Kinyera David, four nephews and three nieces. She was married to Oloo Terrance for more than 15 years before her husband passed away in South Sudan. She moved to Canada and reside in Moose Jaw, SK in 2008 with her 6 children, Daniel, Vincent, Deo, Nicholas, Ronald and Eunice. She is predeceased her father, Oyugi; her husband, Oloo; some of her children and some of her close friends. Bena worked for the City of Moose Jaw for two years and at the Providence Place for four years. She enjoyed watching WWE, listening to acholi gospel music and traditional music. She is a very passionate, caring, loving woman of faith and hope who loved the gospel. She was also actively involved in the community. She will truly be missed by her mother, children and friends.
A Funeral Service will be held at Victory Church, 637 Main St. N., on Saturday March 30 at 11:00AM. Pastor David Yemba will officiate. Interment to follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
