BENSON
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jeannette Marion Benson. Our beloved mom, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend.
Jeannette was born in Moose Jaw, SK December 26, 1940. She stayed in Moose Jaw the majority of her life, with a few moves here and there but ultimately ended back in Moose Jaw. She worked at the Angus Campbell Centre for the majority of her career where she made a difference everyday. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy and loved being able to watch them grow up. From hosting sleepovers at her house for her grandbabies, being the best scorekeeper at basketball games to making the best poppycock at Christmas time. She always showed up for her grandchildren, and eventually for her great grandchildren when they arrived.
She was a staple of her family.
She was predeceased by her son, Kelly Benson; Daughter, Tammie Crone; brother, Dwight Benning. Jeannette is survived by her daughter Shelly Fox; brother, Wayne; Sisters, Barb and Bev.
We would like to express our gratitude for the care at the pioneer lodge that she received, the staff always made Jeannette smile and comfortable.
At Jeannette's request there will be no memorial service.
