Agnes was born on May 21st, 1930, on the farm near Glasnevin, SK. Together on the farm they raised 5 children: Kenneth, Phyllis, Patricia, Arnold, and Michelle, and made a life for themselves. In 1988, Agnes moved into Moose Jaw where she lived until the time of her passing.
Agnes cherished both her family and her faith foremost and spent most of her life in service to others. She was an active parent who spent over 30 years making school lunches, baking virtually all our meals from scratch, sewing our clothes, running kids to different sporting or band activities, all while putting in a big garden that included canning all our winter preserves and helping on the farm when needed. During the next stage in life, she participated in many activities including bowling, lawn bowling, scrabble tournaments, cards, square dancing, golfing, gardening, quilting, travelling, visiting with friends and family, and volunteering with St Joseph’s Church CWL, Meals on Wheels, Home Care phoning, and various seniors' homes. Her memory will live on with her family, friends, and the many lives she touched.
The family would like to thank the staff at both The Bentley and West Park Crossing, as well as the Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital in Moose Jaw and Lafleche Health Center.
