Faithful to the end, Margaret Irene Floyd passed away peacefully February 1, 2025, at the age of 93. Margaret was born February 27, 1931. She is predeceased by her husbands Vern May (1955) and Harold Floyd (2012); her parents Art and Elida Dods; her only sister Kathy Oberg; and her grandson Rogan Knight; along with so many other family members and friends she loved and cared for through the years.
Margaret is survived by her children: Ron (Doris) May, Cheryl (Doug) Cox, Judy (Bob) Andreas, Debbie (Gene) Grebinski, Jane (John) Smith, Carrie (Nelson) Knight, and Howard (Karen) Floyd; fifteen grandchildren, and twenty-three great-grandchildren; brother-in-law Wayne May, brother-in-law Allan Floyd; sisters-in-law Alice Lawrence, Verna Reed, Catherine Shaver, Linda (Ted) Sheard, Julie Elliot and Florence Floyd; and many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
The funeral service for our beloved Mom will be held on February 15, 2025, at 11:00 AM at W. J. Jones & Son Funeral Chapel, 474 Hochelaga St W., Moose Jaw. John Smith will officiate. Margaret will be laid to rest with her husbands at Sunset Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday evening from 7-9 PM at W. J. Jones & Son Funeral Home.
