Dezmond Gilliam July 18, 2005 – July 9, 2024
It is with great sadness to announce the sudden passing of Dezmond Gilliam on July 9, 2024. He leaves behind grieving family and friends, mom, Andrea Gilliam (grandma); dad Mike Gilliam (grandpa); mom Danielle Hetherington; siblings, Blake, Darrius, and Meranda; Uncles Ken Jr., Levi, and Kyle; aunts, Misty, Celeste, Carolyn, Marianne, Brenda, Kathy, Angie and Kim, great grandpa Ken Wright Sr,; great grandpa Edward Kemmis; as well as numerous cousins Moe, Elysia, Kadge, Michelle, Cheryl, Sammie Cristine and Jennifer
Dezmond is predeceased by great grandma Gloria Wright; great grandpa Vern Gilliam; great grandma Patricia Gilliam; uncle Rodger Gilliam; and aunt Wendy William.
Dezmond had a love for animals, especially his cat Ploof. He was funny and kind. His hobbies were knitting, building Dungeon and Dragon figurines, researching, drawing and cooking. He loved his family and friends and would give them everything if needed. He loved to tell stories and share his smile with everyone.
A Celebration of Dezmond’s Life will be held on Saturday July 20, 2024, at 1:30 PM at W.J. Jones & Son Chapel. Della Ferguson will officiate
