Jean Johnston of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan passed away peacefully at Providence Place on Thursday July 11, 2024, at the age of 92. Jean was born to Gladys and Harry Sargeant on September 29, 1931, in Moose Jaw at Providence Hospital. 

Jean was predeceased by her mother, Gladys, father, Harry, brother Ken, son, Eric and special mention to her aunt in Shaunavon, Lou. 

Jean is survived by her son, David; two grandchildren Laura and Ryan; four great grandchildren Elin Bryson, Keira and Piper.

Jean was a private but loving person who led a quite life along with her great love of her dogs. 

Her one great remembrance was her two-year stay in London, England, in her early twenties in the Armed Forces with her best friend as a secretary. She worked at the Moose Jaw Co-Op Association for 27 years as a secretary, and later part time with Larry Hellings Appraisals. 

Jean truly loved her visits from her grandchildren and especially from her great grandchildren while she was at providence Place. 

A special thanks to the individual staff at providence place that treated her with great kindness. 

No words can describe how much I will miss my mom, who was always there for me.

A private family graveside will at Rosedale Cemetery at a later date.
