DOUGLAS “CRAIG” KNOX
It is with broken hearts we announce the passing of our son, brother, uncle and friend, Douglas Craig Knox on Saturday, December 21st, 2024.
Craig was born in Moose Jaw, SK on April 13th, 1972, and grew up on a farm near Briercrest, SK. After graduating from high school, Craig enroled in the Civil Engineering program at SIAST. He worked at Clifton Engineering, Potters, as a truck driver and an Operator at Nachurs Alpine Solutions.
Craig had many talents – furniture and cabinet making, tiling backsplash and floors, smoking and barbequing meats, and growing flowers in the summertime. His interests included fishing, reining horses, and going for a motorcycle ride. Craig was always willing to lend a hand or give a lift. He could be depended on to purchase the largest cake from the Co-op bakery for his mother’s birthday, enough to feed the entire Besant Campground.
He was predeceased by his father, Lloyd; and brothers, Wayne and Brian. Craig will be deeply missed by is mother, Irene; siblings: Dianne (Hugh) Armstrong, David (Joanne), Sandra (Ken) Nuttall, and Barry (Karen); friends, Keith and Bernie Wock; as well as his uncle, aunts, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family would like to thank Dr. Keren Ho and the staff at the Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital, Saskatoon University Hospital, and Edmonton University Hospital for the care given to Craig and the hope you gave us on this journey.
