Gayle Marie Knox (née: Thomas), born January 22nd, 1941, in Bowmanville, Ontario, passed away on Thursday, June 27th, 2024, in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, surrounded by her family. She was predeceased and reunited with her husband, Bob Knox; granddaughter, Rachel Deugau; and great-grandson, Riley Harrower. Gayle is survived by her son, Mark Knox (Rhonda); daughter, Julie Knox (Jason); and grandchildren: Amanda, Alana (Mike), and Dexter. She had an especially close relationship with her niece, Ann Reeves (Harrison) from Ontario.

Gayle was an accomplished woman. She spent her teen years as a majorette and volunteer in the community. She completed her Mother Craft Course and cared for newborns as her career until she married the love of her life, Bob Knox on February 13th, 1960. Moving to Saskatchewan they partnered in a beekeeping business that provided for their family and the next generation. Gayle was an alderman of the Town of Nipawin, a Trustee on the Nipawin School Board, a member of the Kinettes, and a volunteer with Victim Services and Citizens on Patrol. Raising her family and spending time with her grandchildren was her passion for many years. She relocated to Moose Jaw in 2019 and spent holidays with the family of Jason Waud and grew to depend on the love and support of Helen Waud.
