LOWE
The family of Captain Dennis William Lowe are saddened to announce his passing on Thursday, March 6th, 2025. Dennis was born in Regina, SK on July 17th, 1958. He grew up in Moose Jaw, SK and attended Vanier Collegiate. He enroled in the University of Saskatchewan and obtained his Bachelor of Arts and his Commerce Degree in 1985.
Dennis began his military career with the Air Force in 1986 as a Finance Officer and completed tours to Rwanda, Bosnia, Kuwait and twice to Afghanistan. He retired from the Forces and came back to Moose Jaw in 2015. Dennis loved golfing and travelled to golf courses in Ireland and Scotland.
He was predeceased by his father, Dr. Tom Lowe; brother-in-law, Carl Singbeil; uncle, Godfrey Warner; aunt, Helen Truitt and uncle, Archie Truitt; uncle, Edward Pryce; cousins, Scott Truitt and Dionne Warner; as well as aunts and uncles in Ireland. Dennis will be forever remembered by his mother, Evelyn Lowe; sister, Kathy Singbeil; brother, Desmond (Patricia) Lowe; nephews: Bobby (Dana) Singbeil, Leo and Beau, Corey (Kelsey) Singbeil, Mairead and Bryce; aunt, Audrey Warner; uncle, Ray (Doreen) Pryce; aunt, Rita Lowe in Ireland; as well as many cousins in Canada and Ireland.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Pioneer Lodge for going above and beyond in caring for Dennis over the years.
A Memorial Service to honour Dennis will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dennis’ name may be made to Five Hills Health Region/Pioneers Lodge, 1000 Albert St, Moose Jaw, SK S6H 2Y2 or The Moose Jaw Humane Society, Box 1658 Station Main, Moose Jaw, SK S6H 7K7.
