Sheila Maurstad (née Fryklund) age 78, passed away on September 1, 2024 with her loving family by her side. She was born on May 5, 1946 in Moose Jaw. Sheila was a devoted mother, grandmother and teacher. She will be greatly missed by her three children: Pamela (J.P.), David (Lisa) and Kent (Lauren). Also left to mourn her loss are 5 grandchildren: Rowan, Ethan & Amy and Jack & Ryann. Sheila was predeceased by her father Frederick (1977) and her mother Ursula (2016). She will be sadly missed by her sister Lois (Denis) of Ottawa and brother Grant (Brenda) of Moose Jaw, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cancer Care or the Lung Association.
