It is with sorrow that we announce the passing of David Earl Miller on June 6, 2019 at Avonlea, SK.
Dave was born on July 18, 1953, the fifth son of Raymond and Etta Miller of Avonlea. David was a lifetime farmer in the Avonlea area. A lover of all sports; Dave especially enjoyed fishing, golf, curling and ball. He was very generous with his time and a tireless volunteer in and around the community.
Dave is predeceased by his parents; brothers Don, Dennis and Lyn Wood; niece Stephanie; mother in law Katie and brother in law Sam.
David will be dearly missed by his loving wife Gina of 42 years and his four wonderful children, Tara, Tricia, Joel, Curtis; grandson Jaren; brothers Neil (Jo-Anne), Brian (Lois) along with numerous other relatives and all that knew David.
A Celebration of David’s Life will be held on Tuesday, June 11 at 2:00 pm at Avonlea Community Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations in David’s memory can be made to the Avonlea Memorial Rink; c/o Village of Avonlea. In living memory of David, a memorial tree planting will be made by Jones-Parkview Funeral Services.
