JOSEPH ROYDEN HALL MULLIGAN
July 5, 1947 – October 14, 2020
It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Roy Mulligan, a loving father, papa/grandpa, brother, uncle and friend.
Originally from Pembroke, Ontario he found himself planting permanent roots in Moose Jaw, SK, where he and his now ex-wife but still best friend, Linda Mulligan raised their family. The years brought blessings of three loving daughters and sons-in-law Debbie (Doug) Smith, Joan (Shane) Falasca, and Lisa (Ben Green) Mulligan.
While Roy busied himself with a 40+ year career of welding and later, a welding instructor for SIAST and its Outreach Programs; his life became more fulfilled with the arrival of his grandchildren: Montana and Jerico Falasca, Kallan Smith, Shea and Lexi Rensby, and Sawyer Green and his great-grandchild: Benito Falasca. Roy enjoyed watching his grandchildren in all their endeavors and was always incredibly proud of each of their accomplishments.
Roy was always a family man and a great friend. His positive influence, selflessness, wisdom, kindness, and generosity impacted the lives of so many. Roy’s unconditional love fostered life-long friendships and unbreakable bonds with Lawrence Ward, Glen Marrick, Aaron Schewalje, and Gerald Nickel, to name only a few, but his memory will be cherished and forever held in the hearts of so many.
Roy will be greeted home by his parents, Geraldine and Hall; brother, Jim; sister, Loraina; father-in-law, Cecil (Chesty) Kerr; and daughter, Debbie. He will also be lovingly remembered by his sisters-in-law Cindy (Greg) Leckness, Wendy (Gary) Wolitski, Marilyn (Terry) Hancock, Trena (Lionel) Badinski and his mother-in-law, Ruth Kerr.
Until we meet again!
In living memory of Roy, a memorial planting will be made by Jones-Parkview Funeral Services. Please sign the memorial register at website: www.wjjonesandson.com or www.parkviewfuneralchapel.ca (Obituaries). Kelly Scott, Funeral Director.
