It is with heavy hearts the family of Diane Nash announce her passing May 9, 2019, after a courageous battle with cancer. Diane will be sadly missed by her husband Steve Nash, daughter Patricia Wilson (Kory) with Grandchildren Jayden, Jenna, Kylee, son Michael Nash (Kelly) and grandchildren Hayden, Abby, Joey, daughter Krista Wallace and grandchildren Jordyn, Sawyer, Nash.
Predeceased by her Father Howard Duncan, Sister Grace Duncan, Father in Law George Nash, Brothers in Law Blaise Murphy, Kevin Nash.
Survived by Mother in Law Pat Nash, Sisters in Law Theresa Murphy and Joan Nash, and the Duncan family beginning with her Mother Heather Duncan, siblings Dave (Carol), Jim (Gail), Scott (Sherry) and her favorite little sister Laura (Jerod), with many, many, many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, and dear cousins.
Diane was born November 1, 1958 in Moose Jaw, Sask. After growing up in Claybank/Spring Valley area, Steve and Diane made Briercrest their home. After working at the Briercrest Co-op for many years, she decided to open her home and care for children. Everyone was always welcome; the door was always open.
Memorial Service to be held at the Briercrest Community Centre on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers donations, it is Diane’s wishes for donations to be sent to Claybank Brick Plant Historical Society. https://www.gofundme.com/keeping-heritage-alive. In loving memory of Diane, a memorial tree planting will be made by Jones-Parkview Funeral Services.
