Carol was a loving wife, mother, sister, auntie, and grandmother. She married the love of her life, Darrell, on May 17th, 1975, and was married for 49 wonderful years. They were blessed with 3 children: Nicole, Anita, and Jason. Carol enjoyed camping, watching the grandchildren in their numerous sports, travelling, shopping for her bling clothing, spending time with her family during holidays and special occasions, having her weekly supper with her sisters, and her daily trip to Tim Horton’s for her chocolate chip muffin and diet coke.

She was predeceased by her parents, Irvin Stewart “Stu” (2004) and Myrtle (2008). Carol is survived by her loving husband, Darrell; daughters, Nicole (Daryl Smith), and Anita (Daryl Carter); son, Jason (Samantha Flett); grandchildren: Tyson, Tristan, Hayley-Ann, Colton, Autumn-Rayne, Katie, and Adison; sisters, Fay (Rick) Cowan and Gail Stewart; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family would like to thank all of the staff at the Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital, Regina General Hospital Cardiac Surveillance Unit (CSU), and Pioneer Lodge Palliative Care (Memory Lane) for taking such good care of Carol.

The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 22nd, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Celebrant Dave Foley will officiate, and a private family interment will take place at Sunset Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Carol’s name may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Box 2414, Toronto, ON M4P 1E4 or the Saskatchewan Brain Injury Association, PO Box 3843, Regina, SK S4P 3R8. Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane. Andrew Pratt, Funeral Director 306-693-4550 www.moosejawfuneralhome.com
