The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed Canadian offensive lineman Philippe Gagnon.

The 32-year-old comes to the Riders with eight seasons of CFL experience, all but one of them with Montreal.

In 2024, the six-foot-three, 320-pound lineman played in 17 games at right guard for the Alouettes.

Selected by the Als in the first round, second overall during the 2016 CFL Draft, Gagnon has played 99 regular season games and made 75 starts. He has appeared in six post-season matchups, including the 2023 Grey Cup as Montreal's starting left guard, helping his team become CFL champions.

Collegiately, Gagnon played four seasons for Laval University, winning back-to-back Vanier Cups in 2012 and 2013. Additionally, he was named an RQES conference all-star and a U Sports second-team All-Canadian in 2014 and 2015.
